Harriet Tubman

Model-Fever  Task 2  Harriet Tubman
I had Harriet Tubman and after research found she was truely inspirational. She helped more than 300 slaves get freedom from the plantation after single handely escaping from her owner. She then made more than 19 trips back to the plantations to help free slaves when she could have walked free. At one point $40,000 was offered for her capture. When she was part of the underground railway she would always carry a gun (represented by the stick) to both protect herself and prevent the people going back. here I tried to show her guiding the slaves accross country at night (her prefered time to travel). I tried my best to copy her style of clothing - she often seemed to wear shawls and coats so I went for a baggy coat. They are treaking over hills and through woodland to get to safe, free land.
