Well I was recently doing a task in ExclusiveModele and I decided to tie in my entry with cancer awareness campaigns. I have had my doll go bald for almost a week now in support of the We-Care club unofficial campaign (please do visit and join in) so for this task entry I decided to link all of this in:
Description: I wanted to do something dramatic and thought provoking. My doll
is currnetly bald for cancer awareness so I decided to incorportate that
into the scenery. The pose is meant to show her with her arms around
her bald head, struggling with the idea of having now hair. She is in a dark place mentally, where she
feels there is no hope and she is trapped by the illness and the effects
of it. This is shown through the background. It is like she is in a
dream state where she only sees negatives. Her dress is pink because that is a colour associated with
cancer awareness campaigns. She is bare foot because doesn't have the
motivation to try anymore. However help is on its way through cancer
awareness campaigns and she will get through this and be stronger as a concequence.
